Techniquest definitely isn’t just for children any more.
At various points through the year, we run Adult Lates or After Hours events where no under-18s are allowed, so adults can come along with friends to enjoy all of the amazing interactive exhibits for themselves in a relaxed atmosphere.
There’s often a bar and food station involved on those nights, along with different experiences in the science theatre, planetarium and lab, along with special guests out on the floor to bring science to life for an older audience — anyone from 18 to 80!

Over-50s’ Science Café
We occasionally run Science Cafés for the over-50s, so that those of more mature years can get hands-on at Techniquest. It’s a chance to keep minds active and take time to enjoy learning more about different scientific topics, as we welcome guests from universities, charities and research organisations to share some of their knowledge with us.
