Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama’s (RWCMD) annual summer puppetry project joins Techniquest, as part of the ‘Summer of Invention’.
RWCMD’s talented puppeteers will take visitors on a spectacular visual and musical journey throughout the centre, exploring some of the greatest innovations in the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The project will bring science to life for visitors while showcasing the skills and creativity of the RWCMD Design for Performance students.
As well as exploring the puppet stations around the centre, you can also enjoy two very special performances that have been created by the students:
You can reserve your place for one or both shows when you book your admissions ticket online. They’re included in the price of entry, but must be pre-booked as capacity is limited — and don’t forget to check the start time of your admissions tickets with the times of the shows you’ve chosen, to make sure they fit!
Made with 7 to 9-year-olds in mind, but suitable for all.
All performances of Team Life and Team Space will feature Creative Captions. Creative Captions will be integrated into the performance offering an opportunity for D/deaf and hard of hearing audiences to more fully immerse themselves in a performance.
Please note that every show ticket must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket. Availability is limited, so the best way to guarantee your space is to book in advance.
